Sea Success: Pacific Habitat
More than 12,500 acres protected on the Alaska Peninsula.
Izembek National Wildlife Refuge With the acquisition of 12,500 acres, The Conservation Fund and its partners capped off a decade-long effort that has transferred 71,511 acres to the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The newly-protected lands encompass dozens of lakes, ponds and marshes that provide prime habitat for migratory birds and over 200 miles of fish streams and rivers that teem with five species of Pacific salmon.

Announcing the Racing for Wildlife 200
Race to take place June 13, 2008.
Racing for Wildlife 200The Conservation Fund's Racing for Wildlife program will sponsor the Racing For Wildlife 200 ARCA RE/MAX series race at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The race will raise awareness for our partnership with the Ryan Newman Foundation and MIS to restore the Mill Lake Youth Camp just 40 miles from the track.
