Jay F. Wagley

Director

Jay Wagley is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CBRE Capital Markets in Dallas. Over the past three decades at CBRE, Jay has had the responsibility of overseeing the Debt & Structured Finance offices of CBRE for Dallas and the Midwest.

Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1983, and his Master of Science degree from MIT in 1989.

Jay has served on the Board of St. Philips Community Center, St. Philips Foundation, The Advisory Board of Freddie Mac, The Partnership Foundation, and The Phoebe Berman Institute of Bioethics at John Hopkins.

Jay and his wife Susan run a ranch in West Texas where they raise a commercial Black Angus herd that is certified organic and grass-fed. The ranch cooperates and works with USFWS, Texas Parks and Wildlife, The University of Texas, Oklahoma State University, the Noble Foundation, and the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, the ranch has cooperated with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildlife Center on a Pollination Project over the last ten years.

Jay and Sue have two children. Philip, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. He currently has his own business focused on power generation and data centers, and Eliza Wagley is an adolescent therapist in Dallas.
