Lucas Bladen

Major Gifts Manager, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region

Lucas joined The Conservation Fund in 2022 as the Major Gifts Manager for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. In this capacity, he connects with donors to drive interest in and support for conservation. Lucas works closely with philanthropic supporters to activate their passion for conserving the region’s many open spaces, including coastal marshes, working forests, cultural and historical sites, and much more.

Prior to joining the Fund, Lucas worked as an organizer and fundraiser for a variety of organizations in the political and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, he served on the development team at the Partnership for Public Service, a good government nonprofit based in Washington, D.C., where his role focused on individual giving and foundation relations.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. A Connecticut native, he grew up in the small town of Mansfield and currently lives in New Haven. In his spare time, you can find him hiking, cooking and exploring New England.
