Erin Crouse

Field Representative

As a Field Representative, Erin leads real estate projects across North Carolina as part of the North Carolina Conservation Acquisitions team. Erin joined The Conservation Fund in 2017 after earlier serving at the Fund as an AmeriCorps member. During this time, she worked with the town of Cary and local partners to establish and manage Good Hope Farm, a project to support beginning farmers and connect the Cary community to local food.

Previously, Erin was a graduate assistant at the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association, where she developed a wellness initiative that assisted parks and recreation agencies with adopting healthy eating policies. She has over 15 years of experience working for and with local governments. Hailing from rural Western North Carolina, Erin is a certified North Carolina Environmental Educator, an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received a master’s degree in natural resources from NC State University.
