Ira Koroleva

CA Associate and GIS Analyst

Ira is part of the Real Estate team that leads land acquisition projects in California. Each project is a unique story of conservation effort, and through maps, Ira helps tell these stories to partners, funding agencies and broader audiences. Additionally, Ira is leading an effort to organize spatial data for the Fund’s work in California.

Before joining The Conservation Fund, Ira worked at the California chapter of The Nature Conservancy, supporting a variety of projects with GIS analysis and cartography. Before that, Ira was a part of a tree-planting team at Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment and helped teams with data analysis, management and data visualization and contributed to the Los Angeles Biodiversity Report 2022. Ira enjoys painting, gardening, taking care of a fish tank and indoor plants, learning foreign languages, embroidery, film photography and, of course, hiking.
