Rachel Frazier

Accounting Manager

Rachel is the Accounting Manager for The Conservation Fund’s financial operations team. She oversees the staff responsible for managing cash receipts, issuing payments and recording the organization’s financial transactions. Additionally, she acts as a subject-matter expert in accounting for complex transactions, reviews private grant agreements and provides support as a backup or escalation point when needed.

Rachel, a CPA and graduate of the University of Maryland, has a professional background that spans public accounting, real estate and nonprofit work. She began her career with Reznick Group, where she specialized in audits for commercial real estate clients, tax credit funds and low-income housing entities. After her tenure in public accounting, she transitioned to the corporate real estate sector at DiamondRock Hospitality. Later, she ventured into the nonprofit sector, serving as the Accounting Manager at the American Gastroenterological Association.

Rachel resides in southern Maine with her husband where she enjoys walks on the beach and finding beauty and peace in the coastal scenery. She also enjoys exploring her creative side as a singer and guitar player.
