Iowa

Introduction

Iowa is an agricultural haven and a leader in farming conservation practices. The state’s efforts have improved water quality, restored more than 400,000 acres of wetlands, and supported access to nutritious and fresh foods. As part of our work the Midwest, we focus on conserving high-priority lands and creating plans to mitigate impacts on our natural, historic and cultural resources in the state.
