As Senior Vice President of Energy Transition and Corporate Sustainability, Francis Slingsby sets the strategic direction of our initiatives to transition toward a clean and sustainable energy economy. With over two decades of experience in the energy transition, Francis has been at the forefront of developing innovative strategies to align business goals with sustainability imperatives.

Most recently, Francis served as CEO of SouthCoast Wind, where he led the development of 2.4GW offshore wind capacity in the US. Before that, as Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Business Development at Ørsted Offshore North America, he implemented the growth strategy and partnerships to secure a market-leading position in US offshore. He is a UK-qualified lawyer by training with experience in energy project finance.

Francis is a graduate of the University of Oxford and BPP Post-Graduate Law School in London. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing the clean energy transition while fostering partnerships that deliver both economic and environmental benefits.
