Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Holly is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Conservation Fund. She serves as the chief legal officer and directs the Fund’s legal affairs, manages legal compliance and transactional matters, and seeks to limit the Fund’s risk exposure. In her role as General Counsel, Holly provides strategic legal counsel and advice to the President/CEO, Board of Directors and other senior leadership team members. She manages the Fund’s internal legal function and legal department staff and serves as the primary or supervising legal advisor on major real estate and business transactions. In her role as Executive Vice President, Holly is responsible for the Fund’s Mitigation Solutions business unit and its human resources and administration function. She is a member of the Fund’s internal Executive Committee.

Holly joined The Conservation Fund in February 2014, after spending more than 30 years in the private practice of law in Washington, D.C., with Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., where she was Managing Principal from 1996 to 2001. She has served on the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Forum or its Leadership Foundation since 2006. Holly graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Management, summa cum laude, and received her law degree from Georgetown University, cum laude.
