Jake Cooke

Government Relations Representative

Jake assists The Conservation Fund with the Executive Branch, U.S. Congress and nongovernmental organizations regarding federal conservation policy and funding opportunities.

Jake works with the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern congressional delegations to conserve fish and wildlife habitat; improve hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation access; promote sustainable economic development; and preserve America’s cultural history. He is the Fund’s liaison with the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Farm Service Agency, the Appalachian Regional Commission and U.S. Economic Development Administration.

Previously, Jake worked at a small lobbying firm, focusing on a number of issues, including veterans’ toxic exposure. He has a B.A. and master’s in Public Policy from George Washington University. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing golf.
