JJ Brunner

Registered Professional Forester

Since joining The Conservation Fund in 2023, J.J. has worked on a variety of forestry projects, including layout, drafting and administering Timber Harvest Plans as well as fieldwork supporting the carbon offset program for California’s North Coast Forest Conservation Initiative.

Prior to joining the Fund, J.J. worked for seven years for Blencowe Watershed Management where he worked with small landowners preparing Non-Industrial Timber Management Plans and implemented Large Woody Debris stream restoration projects. He has also worked as a commercial timber faller and in fisheries monitoring science.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Humboldt State University and is a California Registered Professional Forester.
