Senior Land Protection Specialist

Lindsay supports the implementation of the Working Forest Fund’s conservation strategy, working on the conservation easements and dispositions that protect each project’s conservation and economic values.

Prior to The Conservation Fund, Lindsay worked for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), providing technical expertise on conservation finance and environmental markets for the agency’s conservation programs. During her time at NRCS, she served as a detailee with the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, providing technical assistance on the Conservation and Forestry Titles of the 2018 Farm Bill.

Lindsay has gained land protection experience working for conservation organizations on both coasts, including the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, Sonoma Land Trust and the New England Forestry Foundation. She has a Master of Forestry degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.A. in English from Duke University.
