CO Office Manager/Conservation Associate

Liz  is an Office Manager and Conservation Associate at The Conservation Fund, where she has been a vital part of the Colorado team since 2012. Based in the Niwot, Colorado, office, Liz excels in supporting various operational and project-related activities, providing crucial administrative support, managing project logistics and applying her GIS and cartography skills to enhance conservation outcomes.

Liz brings a wealth of experience from her previous career as the owner and operator of a horticulture design and maintenance company, Busy Lizards. Her background in office and project management, combined with her passion for conservation, has led her to volunteer with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, where she leads invasive weed and habitat restoration projects and assists with leader training sessions. Beyond her professional achievements, Liz remains deeply connected to her gardening roots and enjoys exploring Colorado and the Western U.S. through hiking, camping and paddleboarding. She is also a former Board Chairperson of Second Start Community Garden in Longmont, Colorado.
