Paul E. Hagen

Vice Chair

Paul Hagen is a Principal at Beveridge & Diamond and leads the firm’s international environmental practice. He advises leading technology companies and others on evolving environmental requirements governing products, facilities, and global supply chains in the U.S. and other key markets. Paul often represents U.S. business interests in the negotiation and implementation of international environmental agreements that inform national laws and environmental protection in countries across the globe. Paul joined The Conservation Fund board in 2011 and currently serves as Vice Chair. He has a keen interest in the Fund’s work on coastal ecosystems. He has served as a board member or advisor with other leading conservation non-profits, including the American Bird Conservancy, Manomet and the Environmental Law Institute (past board chair). Paul has provided pro bono legal support to a wide range of non-profit organizations working to conserve whales, establish protected areas outside the U.S., and advance sustainable U.S. fisheries management.
