Salem Carriker

Salem provides technical assistance and capacity building across western North Carolina with a focus on economic development, local food access and the environment. She uses her previous experiences as a nutrition educator and community health project coordinator to help groups develop programs, engage partners and address the root causes of health disparities in rural communities.

Salem grew up in North Carolina and holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina.
