The Conservation Fund offers a range of investment products to allow individuals and organizations to maximize the impact of their dollars directed toward conservation.

TCF is inviting mission-aligned partners and impact investors to join us in supporting new conservation financing vehicles to scale our programs and leverage environmental and socioeconomic outcomes. Unlike traditional philanthropy, impact investment capital is recovered along with modest returns based on agreed-upon terms, with exposure and performance limited to a single project, a pool of a select subset of projects in the portfolio or the main portfolio.

Innovative Investing With Green Bonds

In 2019, TCF issued $150 million in taxable Green Bonds underwritten by Goldman Sachs. The 10-year bonds are an innovative, first-of-its-kind financing instrument dedicated to land conservation and are helping the Fund achieve critical forest protection goals.
