Bethany Olmstead

Director of Conservation, Working Forest Fund

Bethany brings 18 years of conservation experience to The Conservation Fund. She provides technical support to the Working Forest Fund on critical business aspects including finance, acquisitions and dispositions.

Prior to working for The Conservation Fund, Bethany directed the land conservation and stewardship efforts of the Piedmont Land Conservancy, a nine-county regional land trust serving the north-central Piedmont of North Carolina. She also worked for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission working with landowners to develop and implement multi-resource forest management plans through the Forest Stewardship Program.
