Jennifer joined The Conservation Fund in 2017 and serves as the Midwest Conservation Associate. She has a strong background in trails and recreation planning, grant management and natural resource conservation.

Before joining The Conservation Fund, Jennifer served as an Environmental Planner with the Mid-America Regional council where she assisted in the planning of regional conservation and water quality initiatives. Previously, as a Park Planner with the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department, she aided in developing the Department’s Greenway Network Master Plan and Open Space Master Plan. She also assisted local governments seek funds for conservation and recreation initiatives as a Policy Associate at the National Recreation and Park Association. Throughout her career she has worked with all levels of government and many communities to foster recreation opportunities and environmental conservation

Jennifer assists the Midwest Office with mapping, conservation acquisition projects and urban planning in Kansas City. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a Secondary Major in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Kansas State University and a Master of Science from North Carolina State University.
