Natasha Skelton

Associate State Director, Virginia, Conservation Acquisition

Headshot of Natasha Skelton.

Raised on a beef and poultry farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Natasha’s passion for land conservation is rooted in the intimate relationship between working landscapes and the communities that rely on them. A former agriculture teacher, she refined her expertise in negotiation and contract management in the corporate world where she spent over a decade in business operations and marketing roles. The two career paths merged when she became Executive Director of Valley Conservation Council, an accredited land trust serving the greater Shenandoah Valley region. Natasha is also a certified Nutrient Management Planner and Vice Chair of Virginia’s United Land Trusts (VaULT). In her current role as Virginia Field Representative for The Conservation Fund, she is driven to deliver conservation solutions that keep both our natural world and our human communities vibrant.
