Little Fox Farm is a fast-growing, woman-owned organic vegetable, fruit, and flower farm business. Lindy Kloepfer and her assistant farm manager/husband Daniel Guzman collectively have 20 years of farming experience, producing nutrient dense food through organic farming practices for farmers markets, restaurants, and wholesale markets. Little Fox Farm outgrew its production space after leasing for seven years, but did not have a path to secure land ownership until partnering with the Working Farms Fund program.

To jump-start Little Fox Farm’s expansion, The Conservation Fund secured a 52-acre farm in Pine Mountain, GA, Harris County, which includes an eight-acre irrigated orchard with figs, blueberries, and pecans, prime farmlands for crop production, and natural habitat including a stream and wetlands. Close proximity to Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain, as well as access to both Atlanta and Columbus, will provide numerous market opportunities for this farm. Lindy and Daniel’s commitment to sustainable farming practices will build soil and ecosystem health and help to create a more resilient local food system.

Using the ‘Buy-Support-Protect-Sell’ model, the Working Farms Fund is securing and permanently protecting the property as farmland, investing in the success of the farm business, and providing Little Fox Farm with a patient pathway to farmland ownership.

Farmer Vision

Little Fox Farm will produce locally grown organic vegetables for the community by working alongside nature, not against it. The farm will be a biodiverse environment using sustainable practices that preserve and improve the health of the land and the community.
