Alabama

Introduction

Nestled in the heart of the South, Alabama is adorned with rolling hills, lush forests and biologically rich coastal waters. Our conservation efforts in the state have worked to restore longleaf pine forests, preserve important historic Civil Rights sites and protect critical habitat for species like the Red Hills salamander.
