Arizona
Introduction
Arizona sits at the heart of the Southwest. The state offers a dramatic palette of deserts, canyons and mountains but is arguably best known as a gateway to the Grand Canyon. The Conservation Fund has worked with partners, including the Grand Canyon Trust, to protect ranchland in the Canyon’s surrounding region, in addition to leading work in open space and Petrified Forest preservation.
