Oklahoma’s landscape is a blend of prairies, forests and mountains. From the Wichita Mountains in the southwest to ecologically dense wetlands in the southeast – the land is home to precious wildlife, bountiful natural habitats and over 30 Indigenous tribes. Our work in the state has supported the creation of Oklahoma’s first state forest, protected land for the endangered Ozark big-eared bat and created continued access to economy-boosting outdoor recreation.
