From the Cumberland Plateau to the rivers and forests of the Mississippi Delta, Tennessee’s landscape is a blend of mountains, rivers and prolific valley forests. The state also has a rich cultural history as home to the Unicoi Turnpike Trail, part of the Trail of Tears, which is of deep importance to Indigenous tribes. Our work in Tennessee focuses on preserving wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation and working forests to safeguard the state’s natural resources into the future.
