Financials and Disclosures

The Conservation Fund has the distinction of being one of the nation’s Top-Rated land conservation organizations. Our efficiency is a hallmark of who we are.

Introduction

We put over 90 percent of our budget directly into conservation.

For our efforts, we have achieved Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency, are rated A+ by Charity Watch, and have earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar.

The Conservation Fund is also nationally recognized for going beyond financial metrics to meet the highest standards of effectiveness in achieving results. We have been awarded accreditation from the Land Trust Accreditation Commission for demonstrating the quality of our work and the permanent results of our conservation efforts.

Our work is made possible with generous support from individuals, foundations, corporations and government agencies. Our commitment to accountability and donor transparency remains a cornerstone of our operations. We never sell donor information, nor do we make our donor list available to anyone outside the organization.
